This product has been on the market for 23 years and has sold over 400 million bottles as of the end of 2025. By delivering the unique flavor of hops harvested in the current year, it provides customers with a beer experience that conveys the season and a sense of speciality. From August, both the contents and packaging have been renewed for 'Kirin Ichiban Saku Shoukai', and by enjoying this product together with the previous product, we aim to convey the further charm of beer and deliver happiness through beer. The company and Iwade City started contract cultivation of hops in 1963 and have continued efforts to maximize the appeal of hops, a valuable local asset. The number of farmers has been decreasing year by year due to aging, and hop production has decreased to about one-seventh of what it was 30 years ago, which is a challenge. Since 2004, the company has been working together with Iwade City with the desire to revitalize the production area using the power of hops. In addition, since 2007, the company has participated in the 'Beer Village Concept', an initiative aimed at addressing the shortage of successors for Japanese hops by welcoming new talent from outside the region to contribute to future city planning. The company continues to challenge with the local community to establish a sustainable hop production area, and recently, the number of new farmers has increased, indicating the results of our efforts. Through the release of 'Kirin Ichiban Saku Toreta Hoppu Shoukai', the company aims to convey the flavor of beer made with Japanese hops and the thoughts of the producers to customers, contributing to regional revitalization and the revitalization of the beer market. - Product Overview ● Contents A balanced, easy-to-drink flavor that allows you to feel the seasonal flavor of fresh hops. ● Packaging The image of 'Kirin Ichiban Saku' emphasizing 'flavor and quality' has been strengthened, expressing the 'seasonal flavor of fresh hops that can only be enjoyed now.' ● Hop and Manufacturing Commitment We use fresh hops harvested in Iwade City, Iwate Prefecture in 2026, which are frozen within 24 hours after harvest and used.
